2010 Ice Fishing Jamboree Contest Rules
Listed below are the contest rules for the 2010 Ice Fishing Jamboree. Rules may be subject to change. All decisions by Lake-Link.com Officials are final.- Fish eligible for Ice Fishing Contest must be caught on the Lake Namekagon Chain during the contest hours of 5:15 AM - 3:00 PM on January 23rd, 2010.
- Winning fish will be determined by weight which will be verified by official scale.
- YOU MUST HAVE YOUR TICKET PRESENT TO REGISTER A FISH
- Any tampering with weight or length of fish will automatically disqualify angler from contest.
- Lake-Link urges catch and release(which may be difficult to do depending upon weather conditions). There will be a release hole on the ice near the main tent. Fish do not have to be alive to be eligible. Fish that appear to be old, tampered with, damaged, or severely discolored may be disqualified. All decisions by officials are final.
- All eligible fish must be registered at Lakewoods Resort by 3:00 PM
- Officials shall have the right to verify that fish were legally caught. The decisions of the Officials are final. In the event deception is detected his/her prize will be forfeited and will be disqualified.
- All fishing regulations for the Lake Namekagon Chain will be abided by. Any illegally caught fish will be disqualified.
- All laws of the State of Wisconsin will be abided by.
- Failure to comply with any contest rules subjects contestants to disqualification and removal from competition, as determined by contest officials. Right to refuse competition to anyone is hereby reserved.
- There will be a Leader Board located in the registration area. All efforts will be made to keep the board up to date and accurate.
