It is 100% coyote. Look at the face. Dead ringer.

I think the same thing , wolves help weed out the sick and weak. The wolf also helps the land by removing the grazer from eroding the land.

Glad to see one person say something positive about a wolf siting.people need not fear a true wolf and one should feel prilviged to see one . The wolves are good for the Eco sytem and one beautiful creature.

Not more than a quarter mile from my lease, we think we had a jet black wolf run right in front of my truck! About 4 miles from Humbird (Clark county) . I thought it was a loose dog at first. But even shy dogs will usually stop, sniff, bark, wag it's tail. This one, just stop just off the road, looked at us a trotted across the road & into the woods. Big Mac

Went to take the dog out before heading to work Monday morning and there stood a timber wolf in the back yard. 6:15 a.m. Anybody have a tag ?? Between wis dells and Lyndon station. No wonder I don't see deer in the back yard anymore! Puke

A friend of my uncle got a huge wolf between Endeavor and Portage last year. Someone also got one in Westfield. They've been there for a while now.

A friend sent me this link, looks like maybe the long cold winter has them moving south, this one killed near Portage.
