Looking for pointers,  experience,  whatever in best 270 round for elk?

Just be careful about premium ammo. I had lousy groups every time I tried  them. It all depends on your gun. I suspect my light barreled Sako just didn't like the extra 200 plus fps speed. Yours might be different but if your groups get a little loose, that may be it. Good Luck. Mrt..

Thx. I was leaning towards the 150 noslers anyway but just wanted some others input. Im sure it's kind of a ford vs Chevy debate but interesting to hear others opinions...

140/150 grain Nosler Partition or Accubond hands down. I've had great luck with Federal Premium but your gun may like something different.  Federals happen to be on sale at cabelas right now!

150 Grn. Nosler Partition.

140 Grn. Accubond

145 Grn. Hornady ELDX.

All will work just fine.
