Guys/gals

I have an extra week of vacation next year and not sure where to spend it. I have decided that I will either go to Turtle Flambeau Flowage or Chippewa Flowage. Any of you fish both and have a opinion on which you prefer and why? Suggestions on where to stay? This would be in July and there would be four of us, two adults and two 16 year olds. Cheaper the better...as long as it isn't a real dive :). Please PM me if you prefer. Thanks in advance everyone.

The turtle can be hard in your boat. I busted a prop last year but that’s life. The chip is relatively safer.

If you like smaller walleyes and big hard fighting smallies I would say the turtle.

The chip has a better crappie population.

We stay at flambeau vista every every year and love the cabin. The people are great and the cabins are both nice.

If your going to fish for walleyes the Turtle is better not even close these days.

Im a fan of the Chip. Better overall fishing. The Landing is nice. Treelands is nice too. When up there you gotta get a Ray Jays pizza.  They do a prime rib pizza that is kind of life altering.
