So I have lived and fished in our great state for my whole life (30 years). And I have never fished the spring walleye run on the wolf/fox rivers. I really want to go try it this spring, but I have never been over in that area. I live near wausau and I was just wondering if any of you fine guys and gals would be willing to direct me to a couple of boat landings that are close to fishable water so I don't wreck my boat. I have a Lund Pro Guide so I can't go too shallow.

if you are talking about the Fox and Wolf west of Winnebago, there's good water in all the 'usual' places

the Fox near Eureka:

Eureka Landings, used to be Happy Jacks, by the bridge

Edinger's, upstream near the dam...not sure if still around

Fox around Oshkosh has many launches

Wolf River near Fremont has several landings, Red Banks is popular

don't expect any solitude! hahaha

edit: there's also Omro on Fox and Winneconne on the Wolf

lots of fishing opportunities

Metro Launch at the mouth of the river in GB. Huge parking lot for rigs and they are doing some improvements it for spring.

There is also one on the west side of the river by the Brown Co Fairgrounds, but the parking lot is not very big and tends to fill fast during the run.
