I'll be heading up to Long lake in mid June for Walleye and pan fish. I've never fished this lake and I'm looking for some info to help me find some bluegills. I'm not asking for someone's secret spot just some good places to start with. I'll be staying on the South east side of the largest part of the lake. I've fished the lakes around Birchwood and I know where to go on Chetac and Birch lake if anyone needs some help. Thanks

First of all, I see you're a new member. Welcome to lake link. While I've never fished this lake, I highly recommend finding a topographical map of the lake on the Wisconsin DNR website and using that as a starting point. Do some research on how to read a topographical map and from trial and error you'll eventually be able to find good spots from the comfort of your own couch. I also recommend looking on this lakes page in the fishing report section of this site and scrolling through reports as far back as it goes. You can find a lot of good info. Good luck
