I'm the grandpa who promised the grandkids a fishing trip on Geneva this summer. Can anyone suggest a guide for me?

Carl is good. He's a retired school teacher from Woodstock. There are several other guides on the lake that are good also. John Trossen from "The Pier" on Linn Pier rd., Doug Becker, and Bill Heim "Night Prowler guide service" come to mind. I've known Heim for 40 + years and no BS'ing, I bet he spends over 300 days a year on the water.

I have personally used Carl Kaufmann for bass, pike, and panfish. He has been fishing Geneva for decades. He is knowledgeable and patient. He uses quality equipment if you don't have your own. Good luck.

Ooops, his # is 815 245 4615
