Anyone have a good idea on what a good pair of Marsh Skis would cost?

I have a pair of composite ski’s. Very light. I’d take $75 for them. Getting to old to use them.

I'll need some to get to my deer stand or a real good freeze   !

I have a pair that I made with composite tips and are extra wide and long for a large man. Good heavy strap bindings. $75 located in SE WI (Milwaukee Area)

PM me for details.

ive found with my marsh skis is that wet mud is like a big suction cup.

Would marsh skis work to walk through a swamp that is kinda like quick sand? Not a lot of water, but mostly deep muck on the trails from generations of use. Hip boots and waders don't seem all that appealing anymore to get to my deer stand. Or is it going to be just as much work on long skis? If they would work, I'd be interested in finding a pair I could try.

I would like to get some marsh skis, old or rough or broken, doesn't matter.

Unique tips and high curves most appreciated.

Please let me know what you have.   Thanks so much.

Did you find a set?  I have a set of composite skis I would part with. Getting to old to hike in on them.

We had a shop teacher that showed us how to make them ?  Would steam the lumber then bend it in a jig . Ad wire to keep the toe up and a heavy canvas loop for your boot .
