I see this is on the market.....Sounds like a cheaper version of Heavy Metal...I know its low brass, which I don't care for.. Was $149.00 a case, Macks Prairie Wing...Debating to try it..Love the Heavy Metal, though... Dull

Used heavy steel for a while..was good. But I use the regular 1 1/4 2's from winchester now and don't plan on changing. The Federal are cheaper but my gun won't cycle anything Federal..or I'd use them.

Coupled with a improved modified choke, I'm quite impressed with what I have seen with the cheepies.

Old Hevi-steel was a higher-than-steel density. Very nice load if found at a reasonable price.

Sounds like new Hevi-steel is just plain old steel at a higher than steel price tag.

If you like to waste your money on "Hypersonics" or "blindside" or any other gimmick like that I say go for it.

Heavy steel was out a few years ago but was discontinued for reasons I don't know. I used it then and it worked good. I prefer Heavy Metal myself
