If there is anyone who hunts coyotes maybe you could help me out. I hunt some land near golden lake and I know that there is a pack of yotes on the public land north of me, but I never see them on the land I hunt. So just wondering, how far will a coyote travel if I try calling for them? and what is the best time to hunt for them?

Was able to take this one this past weekend. Came in to a rabbit distress call

Coyotes always need to eat. I would start out with the distress calls but not overly loud and then the coyote vocals if no action from the distress calls.

Have not been out, but have heard plenty the last week or so.  I think they are still mating up this way.  (Bayfield County)  Not sure about the rest of the state.  Try both, and given em heck.

Has anyone been out lately? Am planning on going in the morning and want to know if I should stick to distress sounds or if the coyotes are still mating and should go with coyote vocalizations? I will be going out in southwestern Wisconsin

Well went with the Burris 4.5-14X42 droptine.   Now picked up a mod 700 243 win from a friend and needed to put scope on that, so I ordered a 4-12X40 Vortex for it.

Back up gun in case of emergency or if my daughter wishes to try her luck.

Looking to put a new scope on my .243 win.  Thinking about the Burris Predator Quest 4.5 - 14 X 42.  Anyone have any reports on this one.

Don't want to spend a ton of money, but don't want to go dirt cheap either.  Price is running about $250

Couldn't pull off the win, will take second and bragging rights I guess.  Saw enough dogs, just could not close the deal.  Had a great time with the guys though, learned a lot about this sport.

Friday Saturday and Sunday.....4 team members gonna give it our best to win.  Weather should be good, and signs or yotes everywhere.
