Spicy Pickling

Okay I've just made my first (attempt) ever at pickled fish and eggs. I made two jars of pickled eggs and Pike. I like things spicy so I added some stuff like half a jalapeno pepper to each jar and some red crush peppers. Does anyone have a recipe for spicy pickled northern or eggs. I don't think I added enough spice, but not sure. Thanks. These were the two recipes I used and what they look like in the final brine.

I add a single scorpion pepper with the ends cut off....its not "hot" but has good bite after a three month sit....Man now I have to have one!! Tounge Out

Add 1/2 of a habanero peeper. Add a whole one the next time if it's not hot enough. I can deal with some major heat and a whole one in a qt jar of whatever is enough without overpowering.
