Don's Chuckwagon fish fry mix. Mix per instruction on box. Box calls to mix with water but I sometimes use beer instead. The trick is add about a 1/2 shaker full of parmesan cheese to the mix (add a little extra beer or water as needed). Mix well, dip fish and deep fry til golden brown. Everybody will love it! Mix works well for veggies too, like mushrooms, cauliflower, zuchini and squash.

Ground up saltine crackers. Add some Panko, Old Bay seasoning and a little pepper. Our friends and family think that it's some big secret so don't tell them!

crispy fish coating can be accomplished with instant mashed potatoe flakes. Yes believe it or not, it's the last thing I would buy out of a grocery store but I do add it to my dry batter-usually Shore lunch and I also add a little corn meal. It turns out like you get at a restaurant.

Have not seen that brand before. Have used McCormick Lightly Seasoned fish coating, Fry-Crisp Seasoned coating, Shore Lunch Cornmeal Recipe or Golden Dip't General Purpose Breading with good results. I usually grind up a sleeve of saltine crackers in the blender and mix with a box of coating mix.
