Anyone have any favorite lures or methodsy they would like to share? Hoping to get some info since I've only had some moderate success but have seen it work in the past. Mainly pertaining to the mighty miss.

I have done quite well trolling flicker shads for walleye's and getting lots of crappie's incidental to the walleye's. Spent the last 4 weekends on the Minong Flowage in Washburn County WI. Boated more than 200 walleye's and close to a hundred crappies with No. 5 flicker shads and flickershad pro's.

Suspending jerk baits like husky jerks or x-raps are deadly on crappies, especially bigger fish. work them slowly with lots of pauses. The crappies always suck them in on the pause.

I pick a lot of good sized crappie trolling a beetle spin behind the boat between spots.

I cleaned up last summer up north trolling with Floating Rapalas of various sizes all the way up to F-11's. I bought a few of the Rapala Ultra Lite Rippin' Raps for jigging during ice fishing season and plan to try those too.

Road Runner's crappie thunder work great for me. White and chartreuse or bubble gum and chartreuse are my favorite colors.

Ive casted the smallest flicker shads and ultra light rapala cranks for crappie on inland lakes with good success. Around trees and vegetation. If you can find a school you could even troll for them possibly.
