Is there any new ice plastics this year?  I know B&Y, Clam, little atom, vmc, triangle taper stuff!  Anything new, anything you gotta have?

Save your money !   I use plain colored .060 dia. rubber bands! Round is best.  ( lake fly larvae?)  hook a 1/2” piece through the center on  1/100 oz. horizontal jig.  It’s difficult to find colored, round rubber bands though.     You can also add a scent.      Works for me! CARPIO

Some more to try on the ice. Both were excellent on open water for crappies using different colors. By clipping off  tentacles in different places, will give the bug a completely different look.

I have been using Freedom Baitz plastics the last couple years with very good results. It is a small, family company from right here in Southern Wisconsin that makes good quality plastics at a very reasonable price. They work very well through the ice as well as open water. I hate dealing with waxies and spikes with cold fingers. I can usually catch 10-15 fish on one plastic before having to rebait, which is nice!

Fooled around with phosphorus powder and clear plastic this past year, worked out fairly well in the open water. Going to experiment with it on the ice this season, we'll see. When charged with light it emits a soft greenish glow, really no need to add any coloring.

Not sure if they are new, but seem some sweet looking 13 plastics at Gander Outdoors the other day.
