Just a note about the stocking efforts... Yesterday, April 12, volunteers from MCW (Muskellunge Club of Wisconsin) and MCMI (Milwaukee Chapter of Muskies Inc.) combined forces to help stock Okauchee Lake with extended growth muskies. In total, about 800 muskies ranging in size from 15-17 inches were stocked throughout the lake and put into areas that should help their survival. Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow was in attendance as was Paul Smith from the Journal Sentinel. We hope to have another supplemental stocking effort in the fall when the DNR will also be stocking the lake. Big time thank you to all who volunteered their time and their money to this effort. Attached are a few pictures from the event.
