The Merrill to Brokaw stretch is supposed to be pretty good from what I hear. Saw a TV show on it with a local guide and they caught a number of fish. There should be a musky league that fishes Lake Wausau though too or at least there used to be. I fished Wausau a few times for muskies and lost 1 that I had on in 5' over weeds. Caught a 45" in a river channel fishing crappies in the middle of summer. No real structure there, just deeper water and the channel itself. Not sure if that's helpful or not. I moved away from the lake and wasn't around long to really learn it well though.

Musky you can float the Wisconsin River Merrill at the dam to Brokaw. Small boat or a canoe ….. lots of rocks. Mosinee flowage and below the dam at Mosinee are good spots. Good luck !!!!! Big Smile
