This weekend is the Offshore big powerboat race. The first four miles of the lake from the damn will be no wake. The next several miles in a fishing boat will be like a ocean dur=e to all of the specators that comeing to watch said boat race. It will be a mess. Big Ed is leaving the lake and going sporting clay shooting for tomorrow no guide trips no fishing just fun. If you are here please be carefull.

The lake is still about full pool. They are continue to pull water and so you have debris on the lake .. It is not trees or anything like that it is just pieces of lumber and little limbs.

Look out for floating stuff again. With all of the run off from the recent heavy rains there is once again lots of floating stuff. Please be careful out there.

Weather and big boats are something to take into consideration this weekend. We have pop up storms in the area for the next week so keep an eye on the sky. As far as the big boats go. Always keep your eye on them as they only look out for them self for the most part.

Another crazy weekend here at the lake. Go early go late but be careful. This is the time of the year when you need to have eyes going in all directions. as careful as I am I have to admit I have had a couple of real close calls with other boats.

Still lots of floating stuff on the water. Just be careful out there.. The big boats are on the move so be careful as there is lots of rookie drivers.
