Hello,
Thinking about going to the Brainerd NHRA drag race on August 18 & 19.
Thought about renting a cabin on a lake withing an hours drive of the drag strip and fishing for 2 or 3 days before the weekend race days.
I have 3 kids ages 11, 13, and 15, my wife and myself.
Looking for a middle of the road decent place that is not cheap but is not the Trump Plaza either.
Fish and water wise , a smaller body of water with bass, bluegill, northern, maybe crappie , would be the best, not planing on bringing any fish back, won't pass up a nice meal or two either though.
Any ideas would be greatly appriciated
