The Ottawa National Forest has a variety of hunting including coyote, turkey, grouse, bear and much more.

If anyone comes across any ancient artifacts, old foundations, anything related to history during hunting or in the woods if you could let me know.

There are areas that the forestry service has worked on select cutting, etc. This bringing more nature areas for all types of animals and wildlife.

Many lakes and rivers in the area. Beautiful waterfalls and scenic areas. Great to refresh the mind and spirit. Just to relax.

Some have stayed at a cabin in the area called Stickley Lodge Getaway. Handy as it is on the trail system for ORVing and snowmobiling. Has a circle driveway great for trailers and added vehicles. Sleeps many and is reasonable. Right by the Ottawa National Forest. Great place to relax. Many fishing lakes in the area including Cisco Chain, Pomeroy, Langford, Lake Gogebic, and many other National Forest Lakes. Rivers including Ontonagon, Slate, Presque Isle, etc. There is a website: www.stickleylodgegetaway.weebly.com.  Or, text or call 920-680-7095.

There is a visitor center in the town of Watersmeet with presentations, displays, maps, store and more. And, also a forestry office for questions, maps and more.

There are marked trails with numbers. Some allow ORV use. Which makes it handy for viewing the area, relaxing, etc.

And, so much more.
