Looking For Grass Pickerel

Hello, I am new to this forum. I am in the Chicago, IL area. Do any of you know where I could catch a Grass Pickerel in the Northern IL area? I would really appreciate it and I really want to catch this species. Thanks!

I grew up in Pennsylvania. I caught lots of chain pickerel there and grass pickerel are pretty similar. They both have a black teardrop marking through their eye.

Just curious:  why grass pickerel? They don’t get much larger than 18”.   Years ago I heard of them in the DesPlaines River.    CARPIO
