Body of water at Lake Cook Rd. and Hicks, Palatine, IL - Fish?

There's a nameless body of water at this intersection and a small u-shaped pond; my guess is it's real shallow based on the thin strip island but I'm not sure and wondering if there's fish in there. Anyone checked this area out? Here's the map link:

Drive past that all the time and have always wondered the same thing.  Never seen anyone fishing it though.
