I have several of the long rods (around 3'-4') that have the line running through the blank. The bite indicator springs are going out and I am having a hard time finding replacements for them. Does anyone know where to get these from? Thanks. Jimmy

Svitreum, I like using a Schooley Corkscrew Bobber at the end of my long rods. I bend the wire so the bobber comes off the end of the rod at a 90 degree angle and then use shrink tubing to adhere it to the rod. These bobbers work great for 3 and 4mm tungsten jigs.

Heard from a guy that makes them that the springs inside a bic lighter work well.

I know Reinkes has the spring bobbers. I prefer a hot melt glue for the tip myself. It is also easier to thread the line from the tip, down.

Jimmy check ebay or fleet farm has the ht spring bobbers that you need. I like the black heat shrink tubing and use them instead of the one that comes wit it.
