I'm wondering if anyone knows of a sealant to put around the gasket that connects the two lines to the gas tank? I fired her up and noticed small amounts of gas leaking out of the area on the picture. If there is something I can seal this with, do I have to empty the fuel tank or just make sure the surface is dry? Thanks for any advice on this.

I had the same problem with the same auger, I used gorilla glue and it's been fine for years now.just go around the edge of the bushing and let dry.be sure the area is clean and dry. I glued once and let dry and glued once more over the same area again

you need a new fuel line bushing. Don't try sealing it.

Animated1, no suggestions here for patching, that Polyproplyene is hard to patch! Maybe just let er leak and light a match and drill away?

You could try some rtv silicone.
