Just got the Predator Bibs today to replace Vexilar Cold Snap Bibs simply for the floatation factor. Nice bibs & features. Same size, chest & length fit similar, but the Legs on the Predator are pretty big around in comparison. They'll work, I'd rather float since there is no such thing as safe ice outside a cocktail and its really not much of a fashion show out there on the ice.

Sno Suit super warm, in fact to warm for me I ended up selling it.  The Striker suit has Surefloate in it, which gives my wife piece of mind.

Crosslakes in Minnesota had the original snosuit .It was the Artic Series snosuit. Frabill bought them out. They were outstanding quality and super warm. I have the striker suit now and Im very satisfied. I do have the original snosuit jacket in very gd condition (xl) if anyone is looking for 1

Yeah that's my mistake, I didn't know Frabill made an actual "snosuit". Looks like a pretty high quality suit though!

I believe you have to compare Striker Hardwater Suit to old Sno Suit.

How old are you talking? I have the Frabill I-3 suit which seems to be "old news" compared to the new suits out there. I have no complaints with the I-3 but I don't think it compares to the predator suit.

I'll be buying a float suit next year and if I could do it over, I would have just started out with the floating suit.

I have the original snow suit and its one of if not the best money I've ever spent on fishing gear. Being able to kneel in slush and not worry about getting wet. Padded knees and butt, lots of storage, and very warm.

With that said if the striker suit floats I would buy that 1 just for the piece of mind
