Congress in Illinois has voted for gun confiscation for anyone who is 18-20 years, who owns an "assault weapon".

Why is nobody talking about this???

But , but it will get all the illegal guns off the streets.  !!!!

NZ has the British mindset that gun ownership that is a privilege  , not a right .

 The anti’s just chip away wherever they can, incrementally. The IL Gov would likely veto it. Much of the time these are done to ‘make a statement’.

  There were so many red flags with that FL shooter, so many failures. The emotional ‘walk outs’ and such don’t address anything meaningful. Going door to door trying to confiscate gun’s wouldn’t be a good idea.

So far it just passed the House. Nothing has made it out of Senate sub-committee nor passed the governor's desk yet and there is no guarantee he will sign it if it does. If you're opposed, contact your senator and express your opinion before the state senate votes on it.
