Only occasional 9' waves.  ;-)  I too am looking to go out one more time, but when I have had chances to go 4-8 ft waves are forecasted.

Coming from Phelps I would go to twin and pick up some nice walleye...  These SE and NW winds will stir up the waves lately and not many under 2 ft days lately.

Looks like the weather isn't good for the days you want to go.

It's about 12-13 miles east. If it was me I would probably set up in 200 troll east weather permitting until you find fish or don't want to go any further.

So if out of Manitowac how far before you get towards 300 ft and are you best off going straight east or s/e

Silver fish are out in 300' but they are also in 60'. Start around 60' and troll deeper, when you start getting hits stay in that area. I did very well my last time out of Manitowoc on 10/14/17 in 90-120'. Ended up with the grand slam ( One of each species). Fishing in October and November are usually more productive for me than September. I have not been out as much as I would like because every Saturday and Sunday the wind seems to be blowing 20-30mph.

Good luck

I think where ever you go will be about the same. Most of the silver fish are probably out deep in 300'+
