FlyAllDay,

My best guess, and this is only a guess, is that if you had it hooked to a bulk tank and a hose with no filter that the oils from the fuel line got into your heater and fouled it up. If you have never hooked a bulk tank to it, then check the pilot orifice for spiderwebs/eggs.

Anyone have your heater just shut off....I was fishing Monday in the deep freeze and it just shut off. Checked the propane tank and still had half a tank left. Switched out the tanks just in case and it would not fire up. The igniter works, but couldn't get the pilot to go on. Any ideas?

We have one that won't light the way you say. Have found that for some reason it only lights both sides is when using the #1 cylinders and not a #20.

Called and spoke with a tech support guy and he said it was probably trashed and I would spend more time and money than just to get a new one.. was not impressed with the advice and time he gave me after about a 20 minute wait on hold.

I guess I should have said that when I try to light it I can get the pilot light to light and stay on but when turning the control knob to ether low or med the left panel wont light, only when I turn it to high does any panel light (right one) and only the right one. thanks for the ideas.

That's the way they are supposed to work. The right side only lights on high.
