Josh, congrats on the kill tag. May I ask you a few questions? Do you use a guide/outfitter, what area do you hunt ( no need for exact), do you live in the area you hunt, private or public land, how often do you bait? Sorry for all the questions, but going to put in for a kill tag next year & want to know as much as possible. Thanks, Big Mac

I had a client last year who pulled a tag with 4 points in A, thought it was pretty odd, usually takes at least 7.

About how many points do you think you need to draw for zone C? Looking to apply for a tag for next year I think.

I had a hunter who booked last night who had 5 points going into the draw-he got an A tag-my D hunters so far all had 7 plus on the draw. I'm not sure why B is so tight on the tags-they have a lot of bear in some areas and an exceptional quality of bear. My observations are it has less hound pressure than A and D. If that's the area you want to hunt, then its worth waiting for.

I had already checked the results of last year's drawing and 510 people with 9 preference points pulled a permit for zone B... Only reason I'm still holding out hope. No change to my account yet tho so I'm thinking this probably isn't my year... Oh well hopefully next year I'll get it when bait hunters are first anyways

My dad and I both drew for zone A. Looking forward to it.
