I got some Christmas money and would like to put a couple permanent stands on my hunting land for bow and gun season. I am trying to decide between ladder stands or hang ons with climbing sticks (potentially save some money that way?) Can anyone share their go to setup and any advice? I welcome your thoughts. Thanks. PDUBS

I'll add one more thing about ladder stands from my limited experience. If you can get one with the mesh webbing for a seat, your butt will thank you. So much more comfortable than even the padded seats.

Thx hockeyguy. That's the kind of feedback I am looking for, just thoughts from those who have been out there. Thank you.

I've only sat in a hang on once and didn't really care for it. i like my climber better because it has one of those rails around the seat. I've sat in a few ladder stands and felt much more comfortable/safer in those. From my limited experience, I would recommend ladder stands, but I'm by no means any kind of expert.
