What do you like about fishing with marshmallows?

I like a bait you can eat if the fish aren't biting.

you have to use the pink ones out of the miniature marshmallows bag and a heavy sinker

otherwise it is a pain to get the bait down to where the fish are at

The response to this thread has been overwhelming. I am going to talk to Gander Mountain about me and the wife doing a seminar. "Marshmallows - How to rig em and jig em." The wife will be there to share marshmallow recipes. She will bring her Spam casserole with the marshmallow topping to share with our guests. I will let you know when this gets scheduled.

Don't laugh muskie nut. I have gobbed a bunch of marshmallows into the shape of a baby duck rigged a treble to it, fished it as a top water and caught a 52 incher. The marshmallows were still fresh in the craw and my wife used them as a glaze for the fish fry. That's what I am talking about!

Hardly a dang thing you can't catch with a marshmallow - coons, bears, trout, crappies, catfish. It's my go to.
