So many discussions are on fishing report sections. You might think this is where to post reports. Anybody else getting tired of the discussions and bickering on report sections.

Right below the lake name there is a section that says fishing reports only or all postings. Click on fishing reports only and you won't have to complain about it here.

Anybody else getting tired of the discussions and bickering on report sections.

Over my 61 years of life I can't think of anything more disturbing, depressing, mind shattering, day wrecking than reading all that bickering and those non fishing reports on the Lake Link fishing report forum.

Many of the reports are stupid. Its either bragging with no info or advertising for guides. I find the comments better.

I looked: The heading in the "fishing reports" sections says "Fishing Reports AND DISCUSSIONS".

Caps mine.

If we all agreed on everything there'd be no need for discussion.

Ya,sometimes one report thread blows up and becomes particularly uncivil. Unless the bickering is completely pointless things usually even out on their own. If there's a contentious issue,LL's moderators sometimes delete the whole discussion. I'd rather see them edit the name calling and insults and keep discussion flowing.

The best place to discuss a lakes algae bloom or overharvest or "too-frequent" bass tourneys or poorly-run walleye tourneys is on that lake's report thread.

The reports themselves are - for most waterbodies - going to be the same for this August as they were for last August and the August before and...But any month of the year...basing your fishing trip tomorrow on how well or poorly some complete stranger said he did fishing yesterday? Thththt (with a few exceptions).
