Hello, I went fishing to a local creek to find a bunch these fish I've never seen before. They were all dead and it looked like someone dumped them there, because of buckets and garbage bags along the creek shore. I managed to grab one and get a picture. Any idea on what kind of fish it is? Thanks.

I agree with the others. It looks like a hybrid of either a warmouth or green sunfish crossed with a bluegill.

Hard to tell but if it was a warmouth its eye should be red I think. The mouth appears larger like a warmouth would have.

Some kind of panfish. Could be bluegill or a green sunfish (or a hybrid). With the decomposition, it will lose some color, so it could be a bluegill.

How big was it?

Green sunfish or hybrid in my opinion.
