I was just wondering what line you guys like to use for making your own harnesses?

Vanish does not seem to have the abrasion and impact resistance. Either I use Pline or Seagar. 15#. Fish Green Bay and 'bago.

I've used vanish couple times always had bad luck maybe I'm doing something wrong? I now use 100% fluorocarbon the gold spool and think it's the best stuff I've used! I go heavy on mine cause I hate getting bitten off by the many pike in Canada

I don't use a lot of crawler harnesses anymore. Started using them in Canada about 15 years ago. Since then we have switch to two hook phelps floaters run on a Lindy Rig with a no snag sinker. We use 8# Vanish to the floater. Got to retie the rig a couple times a day if you are catching fish....or you will lose the entire rig.

I use 17 pound Segaur {SP?} Flouro and #2 Octopus hooks too. In my opinion Vanish is more supple but had less abrasion resistance. Ripping rigs out of Sheeps is tough on gear. Mrt.
