We never weighed it. My best guess is 150. It was all I could do to hold it up for a few seconds for the pic. It was 68 inches. We caught 7 that broke the 100 lb mark and dozens that were in the 30 to 60 range. My opinion is any over 150 is a barn door. It has been a blast we went out yesterday ( Kona) had a blast. I wish I could have gotten photos but phone got left in the truck. We caught 1 mahi mahi lost 5 others. 1 rainbow runner. 5 sharks, one was a monster Galapagos, easy 600 lbs others ranged from 150 to 300 lbs mix of bronze whalers, oceanic white tips, and a short fin mako. Had a small marlin on for about 5 mins till he went all marlin and started jumping and acting like a lunatic and threw the hook. We also had over 30 small tuna biggest was maybe 15 lbs. arms are pretty sore today. Trip coming to a close thou hope to get out one more time. Then its back to AZ to pack up the house and move cross country.

how big was the halibut? I was up there and caught 180 lb, they didn't qualify it to be a barn door though. We caught as many sea bass as you wanted, or until your arm fell off. fishing was amazing, the best quality fish I caught was a 38lb salmon. We were up there just about this time also. Was surprised of all the Asian people up there
