Best choice for fish locator? Under $600

I’m hoping to get some input on fish locators. I am looking at hummingbird helix 5 with side imaging,or Lowrance hook2 7x Tripleshot. 

I have no idea which one to get. The last time I purchased a locator it was 1997!

do I go for side imaging, down imaging, or both?

with gps or no!

to many choices. Help me!!!!

Helix 5 Si g2 and lakemaster chip

I've have the Helix 5 with gps,  this is the third year I think its great. I'm not tech savy at all but it does everything I want from a locator.
