I thought this would be a good thread for those of us that buy from the trading post. I have bought 2 items in the past.

#1-835 Mossberg pump**seller "uncle smallie"

Transaction went well, we meet half the distance from our homes. The price was fair and the product has worked fine since I got it.

I would recommend buy something from "uncle smallie" he does business the way you want it done, like a gentlemen.

#2-PSE compound bow**seller "doug" (I don't know his log on name)

Transaction went well. Same deal, we meet at a half way point. Price was more then fair, I would defiantly recommend doing business with him.

WHAT HAVE YOU GOTTEN FROM THE TRADING POST, AND HOW DID THE TRANSACTION GO?

I wouldn't pay $5 for those "vintage" chairs.  Some people can dream...

Now that' right there is funny rikj, hahaha

I remember my first shotgun shot, not sure on age, but it was my Dad's single shot rabbit gun with a short stock ( heavy clothes) ... he told me to tuck it in... I  didn't,  massive bruise from shoulder to bicep... Mom was all upset, lol

Sit her on a stump just off shore as well.    speaking from experience from someone who shot his first 12 gauge with his uncle at 8. Though that didn't keep me away from the sport.

For some reason my wife has been talking about duck hunting with me(I did teach her how to shoot trap many years ago). I noticed there is a H & R 10 gauge 3 1/2 mag for sale on the TP. I think that would be a good starter gun for her and slow her new interest in waterfowl hunting. I would think 1 or 2 shots would be enough?
