mhh doping eh -- i dont know many people that could win this race without doping, ironic how they dont mention how often they are really testing these days since they busted Armstrong, Landis, Contador but always an interesting race.

Forgot the link of many others ---> http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2012/08/24/sports/top-finishers-of-the-tour-de-france-tainted-by-doping.html?_r=0

Didn't Chuck Norris win this race a few years ago on a stationary bike? Big Smile

Hope the guy that crashed is OK.........What a shame all the time and training invested.

Looks like bad news for Leader Tony Martin today. Crash right near the end, appeared that he landed on his left shoulder and broke his collarbone...

TJ Van Garderen remains Third overall.

Yes, the Break does succeed at times.. Much of it depends on "who" is in the break. If a rider is in the break that threatens a jersey wearer generally that team will lead the Peloton to chase them down. today would have been a day that it could have happened, but a rider threatening the red jersey was in the break so they are chase him down.

Ever sport has people that use PEDs, it it probably much less in cycling, now, it seems like a lot but that is because they get tested so much more than other sports, so they get caught.

I have been watching a little here and there. The speeds these guys maintain is insane. Tomorrow's stage looks interesting with that big climb at the end. It's easy to see why there is so much PED use in cycling.

Haven't watch much cycling in the past. Does the lead pack ever get a big enough lead on the peloton to win?
