The cat thread
I had a cat 20 years back that would chase and retrieve crumpled paper "balls" (wad of paper). Just like a dog, would retrieve and paw at me until I threw it again. Makes for good entertainment...
Then we got dogs and the cats became less conspicuous...
Keep those claws trimmed to reduce the bloodletting. I thought about using a dremel on a cat's teeth before, but the wife would have none of it.
Wife got a new kitten a couple months ago. Siamese, looks like it may be chocolate point. Cute as a button. Affectionate. Also, unless it's sleeping it's starting chit with the older cat...unless the other cat is hiding. Also attacks us and purrs while she's doing it. I've woken up with her paws wrapped around - and her claws IN - my forearm...teeth working on my fingers, motor running loudly...
I bought a used sit-on-top kayak the other day. Foam golf balls are being used as scupper plugs. I removed two to fit the 'yak cart.
The kitten found those golf balls. She has spent hours carrying a ball to the top of the stairs and letting it go to bounce down the stairs. She then retrieves the ball and carries it back upstairs. She will repeat this continuously for at least 1/2 hour at a time. When she's done she hides the ball, has a little nap or snack, then goes back to retrieve the ball and start over.
Hey Queen, He’s alright when he gets too know you. He doesn’t go after anyone unless they break his Safe Space.Lol He loves kids!! Not too eat, but to play with. He wants to play with his squeaky mouse. I agree with people who rescue animals. It takes patients, Love, and team work and I commend you all!
My cat loves to play fetch. He will play fetch with his toy mouse for hours! He will also stand up on his back two legs to get treats and take them out of your hand. And will pretty much eat any kind of food that falls off the table. My cat basically thinks hes a Dog..
