Smashed my phone and got it replaced. I have a Samsung G5. It appears something is set up different than my last? When I want to "attach photo" and hit the button, it goes to my camera. Not to my gallery, so I can pick a pic? Is there a easy fix/adjustment? I am not, at all, tech savvy. I know, I could go back to the US cell store and ask for help.... but that's just below hell and just above the DMV. So I'd rather not. Appreciate any help. Fowl one

In the box with they new battery they said to run the battery down to 10% and then to charge it fully. I can tell from running it from 23% to 10% the discharge was slower than with the old battery. Looking promising...

Not bad.. took 30 minutes.. Start to finish, and I worked slow and meticulously...

No left over parts, nothing broke or misplaced, and it WORKS !!

I am now a huge fan of the ifixit website. Directions were right on, and they even provide two Phillips screws to replace the Pentalobe screws that hold the display down to make it easier the next time..

Now lets see what it does to the battery performance..

I will post the results.. Ummmm.. can't take photos with the iPhone with it disassembled.. I will have to work on that..

Based on the current Battery performance, it can only get better, I hope. It does seem related to the iOS 11.3... and above battery management "features"...

And the garage remote is fixed.

Interesting to see if battery replacement helps as it seems to be an OS problem.

Best of luck and take some pics!
