I miss the old thread...

My random thought for the day?

While driving to Oconomowoc this evening I noticed a dead deer on the side of the road with a big ole' orange X painted on it's side.

What in the world is that for?  Are they trying to keep track of what deer has been reported dead (for disposal purposes?)  If so, wouldn't it just be easier for the guy to throw the dead deer in the back of the county vehicle rather than painting it's side with an orange X?

Do small hands = a small button?

And large hands = a large button?

We called it Hot Tamales in Manitowoc County growing up.  It was even listed that way on the hot lunch schedule in the paper.

Fountains were bubblers.

Plural of you was youse (while pointing index and middle finger at the people you were referring to)

You didn't cut in line, you budged in line.

'N So? mean't, "do you agree? or do you know what I'm saying?"

I had my pre buy at 1.10 .  I still check price occasionally to see if I was smart or not (Was burned once) .

Price at L&L in Waupaca  is 1.39 for 300 gallons  .

1.80 is higher than last winter but not devestating when I consider the historical price over the past 20 years.  Granted I didnt shop around for the best price but went with one I know gives good service and has a reliable supply.

River Chaser, $1.80? Sounds bad to me, I know it's more if you don't have a contract but I locked in this year at $1.19 here in Marinette County.

The best part of barstool economics is that it isn't limited to sitting at the bar.
