I miss the old thread...

My random thought for the day?

While driving to Oconomowoc this evening I noticed a dead deer on the side of the road with a big ole' orange X painted on it's side.

What in the world is that for?  Are they trying to keep track of what deer has been reported dead (for disposal purposes?)  If so, wouldn't it just be easier for the guy to throw the dead deer in the back of the county vehicle rather than painting it's side with an orange X?

Cronkite didn't write fake news stories like everyone does today.

I'm sorry Bob, that is an oxymoron.

opinions vary

1. Cronkite may have been tough, but would respect the responsibility of the press to vet their opinions, or in the case of news reporters, report the truth, not opinion

2. Apple claims that their recent announcement was indeed partly influenced by the new tax laws, and has been reported that way by most credible news organizations

Ha Ha, I think Walter would not have been kind to trumpy.  After all Walter's commentary on Fox News was:  "it was intended to be a conservative organization – beyond that; a far-right-wing organization".  I doubt he would have put up with the nonsense from the tweeter in chief.

I wonder what Walter Cronkite would think of Donald Trump as President. Would Trump use "fake news" if Walter Cronkite was critical of him?

Speaking of drinking glasses, we still have an unopened box of glasses in the basement from our wedding in 1981. Maybe I could sell them on the L/L Trading Post, they are definitely vintage..........

She does collect large ugly Margarita glasses for some reason and rarely drinks.

I would guess 274 as opposed to 239.
