I miss the old thread...

My random thought for the day?

While driving to Oconomowoc this evening I noticed a dead deer on the side of the road with a big ole' orange X painted on it's side.

What in the world is that for?  Are they trying to keep track of what deer has been reported dead (for disposal purposes?)  If so, wouldn't it just be easier for the guy to throw the dead deer in the back of the county vehicle rather than painting it's side with an orange X?

The women teams are called Marshmallows. They wear white pants or white shorts.

When I was in central IA today, the forecast called for thunderstorms by noon.  It still wasn't raining when I left at 1:00 pm.  So my random thought was.... I wonder if it is raining yet where Mr.S lives.

They are sponsored my "Marshmen" tires IIRC.

It's probably the Horicon Marshas. Or possibly, the Marsha Marsha Marshas.

Driving through the Village of  Horicon today and noticed the signage saying the High School nickname is The Marshmen. Are the Girl's team known as the Marshwomen? Makes me wonder.

I miss seeing the blue angels when I was in college in Lacrosse. Was fishing a wing dam one night and they flew over pretty low while practicing. When I was a kid like 25+ years ago we used to go to hardwood bombing range and watch the practice runs. The A10s were always a favorite. Anyone know if they still let you do that or is that a just a memory in the post 9/11 world?

He did Dave, he almost looked irritated!

I could see the pink reflection of his pen off his brow, it wasn't pretty...

I smiled and waved, but he never even looked in my direction.  He must of been having a bad day.

Did he have a disgruntled look on his face?
