Going to have a POLITE open discussion on new features or improvements you would like to see on a new site we plan to launch later this winter or early spring. We appreciate any and all ideas... We are currently developing a "responsive" site so it will work well across all devices. Thanks!

Uggg...

Steve’s explaination was accurate.. and very good.

If it bothers you, or you are getting messages:

Clear your cache, clear your browser history.

Kill the LL bookmarks you have..

https link for LL

Go to the pages you want to bookmark and save those book marks.

Using the link above directs you to the Https pages from there and will not take you to the Http pages..

That should solve the perceived issue.

ps.. on a smart phone if you are on the https:// it will show a little lock next to the URL..

Actually with https, SSL and TLS there are encryption keys.

Here let me explain this to you one more time simple terms

You would never put your Social Security where you live your bank accounts and any other personal information that you did not want anyone to see posted here on Lake Link would you

Even if it did say it was a secured site if everyone else can read it

Encryption works when you log into the bank and go through all the passwords that's when when a encryption works then

Not on an open public site

@ BA....  If what you say is true about only Bank sites and stuff being encrypted.   Why is LL the ONLY site that I ever get warnings about????

You are NEVER secure on the internet. If hackers want your info they will get it,same as you can secure your home all you want but if someone is determined enough they will get through. While its smart to secure things as much as possible nothing is flaw proof!Just the world we live in.Plain and simple.

If Lake-Link was truly encrypted or any of the internet you will not be able to read anything unless you had an encryption key

Most of the internet is an open forum for everyone to view does this make sense

The secured sites are for banks personal information my passwords and that sensitive information

Lake-Link secures that sensitive information when you go to the store or when you go and log in and out of Lake Link because you're using your password

I wasn't trying to stir the pot.

ALL pages/sites, not just LL should be encrypted at the minimum.

It's way easier than people think for hackers to get sensitive information.

NEVER use the same password for multiple sites.

Steve. Nothing is easy any more, especially those of us that are barely computer savvy. Totally confused on what you posted . What does it really mean to us semi computer literate folks!!    CARPIO
