All-star game is a joke, and being linked to home field advantage in the world series is ridiculous. Can't say I won't tune in to check out Brewers players though.

Players union is opening it's own spring training camp for the over 100 free agents still out there . 15 of them are represented by Scott Boras  !

Guess he went to the well too many times .

So what happens when spring training starts and all these guys are unsigned?  Kind of hoping a lot of them don't, especially the ones represented by Scott Boras.

There is talk about a potential player's strike due to the little movement in the Free Agent market this off - season. I see the Free market at work...players like it when the market is on fire, but it has to go both ways. This year it's slow. No need to strike in my opinion.

JS reports that Stearns in market for pitching.

HAHAHA!  About three months too late on that one.  I still maintain that we will ultimately look at last year as an opportunity lost......

Best case scenario for Brewers would be to get rid of Braun and that ridiculous contract.  For the Yankees or Cubs that contract is okay.   But when your payroll is 60 million Braun is taking 1/3rd of that is outrageous

Yeah, the Brewers definitely do not have the money to spend (throw away) like the Cubbies! They did get Chase Anderson last year at 1/4 the cost of Chatwood. Lots better choice!
