I really enjoy a good beer, but the last few years I've been drinking more and more red wine.  Heart healthy, and all around better for you than beer.

For the most part I enjoy a dark, dry, red wine.  That said, King Estate from Oregon has the best Pinot Noir I've had to date.  Anyone else have any favorites?  Dave, I know you can add to the list!

No such high end wines here.  That is vino PhD material. On your way up to Canada, stash a couple of bottles of that stuff in the weeds along highway 29 (if your driving that way)....text me the coordinates and I will pick them up.    Just kidding of course.

Killibinbin this evening...

A nice red, a long finish with a bit of spice at the end.

Enjoyed a bottle on the front patio with my wife.

L39 is excellent ET.

Timers has Hess Cab on sale, in case your interested. It is in the sale isle. Walk in the door and head to the last isle to the right.

Never figure the Germans to have a good red wine. Always thought they only had good whites. Will have to put it on my short list. Thanks for sharing Plmlk.

When I was TDY to germany only had the beer and the white wine after a tour I had taken. Found the white to dry for my taste then.

I am also of german decent. ....But really only think of there beer....

Edit: Just popped a L39 merlot, why cause I like it.
