Both the corners have had a great start to the season. Morel is now playing with confidence and his game will only improve. Busch has been solid at first and his presence at the plate is something that opposing teams have to account for. 

These two positions were big question marks leading up to this season 

Z has been relegated to emojis! That's a good thing for everyone!  

Two road series wins in a row IFB!  And should have won the Padres series too if not for a breakdown debacle.  Good start to the season!

Morel looks like a 3rd baseman.  Great to win a road series.

U guys are right on our Bee-Hinds. It’s a tough long season, but give ya props for being tough. Good luck Gents and Lady’s. 

    

Really? Is Counsell great? He had a great pitching staff in Milwaukee which he obviously doesn't have in Chicago! Plus the Cubs did little in the off season to upgrade their position players! We'll see but not expecting much based on their early season performance so far!

Cubs got a great manger Counsellout( Wisconsin guy)! They might be a threat this season!? 

  

Think your manager is over thinking things, trying to prove he is worth the money they are paying him! Just doesn't have the talent on this team, especially pitching! Will be a long frustrating year for Cubs fans again! Sorry!

Yea good road trip 5-4  could of been better  with a couple of losses that should of not happened. Yea coming home now to face the fish so let's keep the win streak going. GO CUBS!!!

Hey Chicago what'd ya say?  The cubs just won another series today!

Great win after the late loss last night in extras. Wicks pitched better than his previous outing, but only made through 4.1 innings. Wesneski did outstanding for his first game back. He only gave up 1 hit and had 4 strikeouts in his 4 innings.
Cubs offense did just enough and kept the pressure on the D’back’s defense.
The Cubs went 5-4 on this West Coast trip. They’re a half game out of first place in the division and coming home to play a 4 game series against the Fish. Time to kick it in high gear.

Cubs option Palencia and Little to triple A and recall Hayden Wesneski and Colton Brewer to bolster their pitching staff.
The Cubs are deep in pitching with the players they have in Iowa. They can move guys up and down to cover innings.

I thought CC was supposed to be a master of the bullpen?  Still early in his tenure, but he didn't leave much bullpen wiggle room for today.  Sigh......
