Looking for some help and figured someone here may have experience with this. Apparently bug spray and boat plastics do not mix. We had family visit the cabin and my cousin sprayed a bunch of bug spray in the boat resulting in white dots accumulating on the fish locator, throttle, and steering wheel in the boat. They do not wipe away and I am at a loss as to how to restore the plastic back to normal. Does anyone have any experience with this? What's the best route to fixing it? Thanks

see crappie kid's post

this is what he used... might be worth a try ...start with something inconspicuous in case it makes it worse?

a product called 303 aerospace protectant may do the trick. Restoring plastic is always a gamble, so go to an auto parts or boat store or fleet farm and do some research.
