Blaze Pink, Anyone??
I am well aware of how a bill becomes a law. Thanks anyway.
Sorry if you can't take some sarcastic comment with a grain of salt instead.
Who cares what party introduced the bill? It's stupid and unnecessary when there are many more pressing issues facing the people of this state.
The whole problem today is that society is so polarized.
Walker must know someone who is going to open up a huge new job-creating business for the yet to be seen but sought after blaze pink hunting clothing.
Easily enough remedied, just draft an addendum allowing for blaze-blue camo.
"The Blaze Blue has been added for two reasons. In 2003, Joe Green published a report entitled “To Hunt and Return – developing safe hunting practises” – one of the things this report tried to determine was the most appropriate coloured clothing to wear to be seen in the NZ bush. At the time, blaze orange was the most widely promoted option, but Joe’s research also identified Nato blue as a colour that stood out as well as blaze orange."
Forgive me if I'm missing something here but they don't make blaze orange hunting suits in "womens shapes" because of retooling for a small market? Wouldn't they in fact have to retool to make "womens shape" clothing in pink as well for that same small market? I have yet to ever see a fully insulated pink or pink camo suit readily available.
I see Cabelas has blaze orange "womens shape" parkas and bibs on sale right now for $50 each, not going to find a much cheaper suit then that no matter what your shape.
My girlfriend wears a very nice camo suit, which is already readily available, and a simple blaze orange vest and hat. No special shapes required for the vest or hat and the camo suit can be worn bow hunting and during other activities as it gets colder.
She laughs at the whole pink thing and says "If ladies wants to be a hunter, and treated like a hunter, just act and dress like a hunter. If your worried about making a statement do it somewhere other then in a treestand."
