Do you mean St. Croix rods?

St. croissant rods
There not 'as sensitive' as the other rods mentioned. I've used Fenwick and they are far more sensitive than the croix's at twice the price. I just couldn't keep the tip's from breaking. Original $165 rod or the $125 replacement I got after the original broke. HMG and HMX, both broke 3" down. Gave the 3rd replacement away!
Time for a Croissant
Are they more sensitive than St.Croix? Do they come with gravy, butter, or is that extra? Have 4 ML rods in different styles and lengths (6'3"-7'). $40 gander rod or $30 IM7 Shakespeare are far superior in sensitivity to any of the Croix rods I own. Even the short 6'3" ML Eyecon (shorter rod with nano/Power Pro transmit more feel with light bites). Mostly use 1/8oz jigs with 3"-5" plastics. You have to be able to feel the bottom change from sand-gravel-mud, light bites or a small weed on the retrieve. (I) Can't do that with any of the Croix rods. Hardly even pick them up unless I'm throwing spoons, where light bites and sensitivity are not the order of the day. Maybe if I dip the Croixs in gravy I can feel an 1/8oz jig....
