I'm tired of hooks getting hung up in the net and spending to much time getting them free. Do rubber coated landing nets resist hooks getting stuck? Do solid rubber nets resist hooks?

The series of coated Frabil nets like wet-net posted are really nice and very hook resistant. Had the all rubber before the rubber coated and like mentioned are heavy and have a pile of drag in the water. Also with age the all rubber will break down and cause some bad experiences.

I finally got the hook stuck on the netting for first time in over 10 years with mine.

I would get the extension handle so you can go out more than 48 inches if you are trolling

the full rubber nets might be a bit heavy but they are worth not having to get hooks out of the net and back trolling

coated nets work great. the all rubber nets are heavy specially when trolling. I been using the same Frabill Release Net since 2005.http://frabill.com/landing-nets/conservation-series/9510.html
