Lowrance HDS Gen 2 touch transducer upgrade

Hey fellas, so I have a Lowrance HDS 9 Gen 2 touch locator. I was under the impression I would have Down imaging and or side imaging and when I turn it to that screen it shows nothing. After some research, I found that in order to have D.I and or S.I., I would need to upgrade to the structure scan HD transducer. When I google that, I see the LSS-2 or the skimmer. Im not sure if these would work. I guess I am asking which transducer do I need to buy in order to get my S.I and D.I? Also do I remove the current transducer or leave it there and just add this one? Any black and white help would be appreciated. Thank you. If someone could drop a link to the right transducer that would help as well. Thanks again.
